This video is from earlier this year, it’s hip-hop from womens’ perspectives, a discussion that was held at MoCADA in Brooklyn in March 2012. It’s interesting to hear the different opinions about Niki Minaj and the state of hip-hop. One of the panelists, Charlene Thomas, was actually responsible for the Mobb Deep & Lil Kim collabo on the Quiet Storm Remix. What I found schocking was what she had to do to make it happen.
