BHF13 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival
Saturday July 13th began as a gloomy and rainy day in Brooklyn, not very good weather for an outdoor concert. However, the rain held up for most of the performances. There was some rain during Redman’s set but for the most part the weather cooperated and the festival turned out very well. Performers were Dillon Cooper, Dizzy Wright, DyMe-A-DuZin, Justo, Danse of BKLYN STICKUP, F.Stokes, Soul Understated, Redman, EPMD and Pusha T.
Dillon Cooper, a new artist from Brooklyn, opened the show and got the crowd warmed up with his performance.
Redman kicked off his set with “That’s How You Roll A Blunt” then went into “Tonight’s Da Night”.

EPMD gave a great show, they performed their hits including “It’s My Thang”, “You Gots To Chill”, “Knick Knack Patty Wack” and more.
While DJ Scratch was displaying his turntable skills, Lil Fame of MOP came out as a surprise guest and performed “Ante Up”, that got the crowd even more hyped.
EPMD also brought Redman back out to perform “Headbanger”.
